Q: I received a tax proposal and I noticed that part of the membership fees missing. Why?

A: Last year's pre-filled tax return part of the union dues may be missing. This is because all employers have not given statements of account by the deadline. Trade union membership fee reduction should be properly on the final tax.

Q: Were do I get more infor regarding the strike in IT service sector? How do I know if I must be under strike or not?

Q: I received a letter from ERTO's unemployment fund. It tells me that the bill is coming to pay an unemployment fund membership fee. What do I do?

A: You do not need to do anything. Tietoala / UIL member fee includes an unemployment fund membership fee. We pay the unemployment fund's share to unemployment fund. We handle the fund transfer and payments so that there will not be any breaks to your unemployment fund membership.

Q: How and when will I pay the Tietoala/UIL's membership?

A: If you pay the membership fee by yourself, you will receive payment instructions in next couple of weeks. The first payment is due in the end of Oct 2011 (September’s fee).

If membership fees are deducted directly from your salary, UIL will inform your payroll office.

Q: When will I receive the new UIL's membership card?

A: We will begin to make membership cards from the 15^th Sept. We try to get the membership cards delivered by the end of September to those members who changed the union from at the first phase. After that you can expect the card in two weeks from joining UIL.
