Membership fees

This fee includes the organization (Tietoala), Union (UIL) and the unemployment insurance fund (IAET) membership fee.

Specific groups

Unemployed
Membership fee normally 1,2% however maximum € 36 in a month. The unemployed can be granted the lowered membership fee € 16,- on the basis of a separate application.

Students
Students who studying in the information sector educational institution can be join to organization (Tietoala).
The engineer students will join IOL. The membership fee of IOL will be 30 € / five years.

Working students pay normally membership fee.

Pensioners
The Pensioners' fee is 10.00 € / month.

People who are not salaried
10.00 € / month for members who are on:
maternity, paternity or parental leave / childcare leave

Others 16,00€ /month, example
performing military service
study leave
fixed-term pension
unpaid sick leave
unpaid leave
laid off
Kela basic allowance / social support, or more than a calendar month waiting period lasting (unemployed)
